 What is Google AMP?

The full form of Google AMP is Accelerated Mobile Pages. It is an Open Source Framework, which works to increase the loading speed of the website on mobile. Nowadays, most people use mobiles more than laptops, computers and most blogs and websites are also visited by mobile phone users, due to which the maximum traffic on the website increases only by mobile users. About 70-75% people use mobile. That's why Google started AMP to make the website more fast loading in mobile so that the user can load all the websites fast in mobile and the user can be attracted to view or read those websites.

Everything is good in your site, but despite that it is very important for your site to load fast, because there are many users, in which if your site takes more than 2 seconds to load, then they ignore it. |

Due to the slow loading of the site, users are unable to read the website page and those users whose internet connection is very slow, they face a lot of problem in it. To solve all these problems, Google started the AMP Open project, in which the user can fast loading the website page even in the mobile phone.

Google AMP loads only the content we need by removing Unusable Extra Content from the site. According to Google, it makes the site 85% faster, so that the user does not have a problem in loading the website page.

The full form of AMP is "Accelerated Mobile Pages".

How does Google AMP work?

Google AMP works to increase the loading speed of the site. When a user uses it, after opening the page of the site in a mobile device, only its necessary content will be loaded, which we can read and understand. It only shows the essential content.

It ignores all those things like- Title, words written in the article, and Heading etc., which cause problems in loading the website, so that you can easily open the page on mobile. Also called AMP Html, it is an open source framework. AMP's pages are customized with Javascript and Css3, all its pages are cached.

Whenever AMP pages are enabled in the website and whenever you open the website, only the main content of the site is loaded, due to which the site loads fast. AMP is divided into three parts:

AMP HTML

AMP JS

AMP Cache

Advantages of Google AMP –

You all know that in today's time 70-80% people use Smartphone for browsing. If we want to bring more traffic to our website then this is a better option. If users get less load time, then the speed of the website will be high and they will be easy to browse. In such a situation, due to the good speed of the website, the site reputation among the users will be good and the traffic will increase further.

This is good for SEO because web crawlers search pages faster than normal pages. And in this way Organic Traffic will also increase more of the website. You can also set up Auto Ads in Google AMP.

Disadvantages of Google AMP –

To make the website load faster, only the main content is shown in the page of AMP version. In this also there is an option to place ads of Google Adsense. But the pages that contain Google Adsense or other advertisements are shown in small numbers. Impression is very less and due to this the revenue becomes very useful.

Apart from this, there is no option of comment box in this, for this then the user has to go to the Non-AMP page. You have to pay money to install favorite themes in it. They give us just a few themes for free.

Once you have enabled AMP in your website, then Google will index only AMP pages in your website's mobile. In this condition, if you disable it, all the pages will be indexed and they will get a 404 error message. The number of posts in a large website is very large, in such a situation it is very difficult to disable it after so many posts.
