What is System Software?
 A system software is the computer software which is used to control and coordinate with the computer hardware and to the provide a working environment for executing the application software. A system is operating software (os) device drivers utility software, etc. which help to configure optimize and maintain the computer system. The system software help to all parts of the computer to work together. some popular operating systems are Windows, Android, LINUX, UNIX, etc.
Types of system softwares :-
Operating system (OS)
The operating system that is used to activity the computer system and provide common platform between the user and hardware to work is called an operating system. it is the first software that is loaded into the computer's memory during the booting process.
Device Drivers
The device driver in a program that control a particular type of device that is attached to the computer system. for explain to work with modern and printers we have to install their driver software then only this device will work.
Language Translator
The computer accept data and instruction on natural language like English what is cannot process data as instructions on natural language so this should be translate into machine code to convert search natural language into machine code we need to system call the language translator this are interpreter compiler and assemblers.
Utility Software
A special type of system software that is used to maximize the utility of the hardware device in the computer system are utility softwares. we can use this software for scanning the hard disk, repairing in maintaining of the computer system and removing the virus of the computer. popular utility software are antivirus cleaner, disk defragment and other toolkits.
